How to Buy

Vehicles are shown by appointment only.  Please contact the sales representative by phone or email to make an appointment at the sales lot in Redmond.  At that time you will be able to inspect vehicles, test drive (with insurance verification) and review all maintenance history.

If you are interested in purchasing a vehicle, here are the easy steps to making it your own! 

1. Fill out and submit an Offer to Purchase:

The Offer to Purchase form is available from the sale representative.  On it, you  state the price you are offering to pay for the vehicle and that you agree to the "as is" and "hold harmless" conditions of the vehicle purchase.  Upon acceptance of your offer by King County, you will receive a signed copy of the agreement.  You may also negotiate a time and date to pick up the vehicle. 

2. Pick Up Your Vehicle:

At the time of pickup, you will need to bring a cashier's check made payable to "King County Finance Department".  The check amount will be the sales price of the vehicle plus applicable sales tax.  You will then receive the vehicle title and a Bill of Sale showing you paid the required sales tax to King County.

3. Licensing:

You will need to transfer title and license your new vehicle.  King County license plates are removed at the time of delivery.  Three Day trip permits are available from the sales representative for $30.

All vehicles were bought new by Metro and have been serviced on a preventative maintenance schedule.
