How to Buy

Vehicles are shown by appointment only.  Please contact the sales representative by phone or email to make an appointment at the sales lot in Redmond.  At that time you will be able to test drive vehicles on the lot and review all maintenance history.

If you are interested in purchasing a vehicle, here are the easy steps to making it your own! 

1. Fill out and submit an Offer to Purchase:

This form is available from the sale representative.  It states the price you are offering to pay for the vehicle and that you agree to the "as is" and "hold harmless" conditions of the vehicle purchase.  Upon acceptance of your offer by King County, you will receive a signed copy of the agreement, have 5 business days to make full payment and take receipt of the vehicle. 

2. Pick Up Your Vehicle:

Upon receipt of a cashier's check made payable to King County Finance Department, the sales representative will make an appointment for you to pick up the vehicle in Redmond, or make shipping arrangements.  You will then receive the vehicle title, current emissions test certificate (if applicable) and Bill of Sale showing you paid the required sales tax to King County. 

3. Licensing:

You will need to transfer title and license your new vehicle.  King County plates are removed at the time of delivery.  You may want to purchase a three day trip permit, available from any Washington State licensing office (or upon request from the sales representative). 

All vehicles were bought new by Metro and have been serviced on a preventative maintenance schedule.
